13,000 years ago there was a prehistoric human culture known as Clovis, they lived in what is now known as New Mexico, It was first thought that a comet wiped them out but researchers found enough evidence to prove that the comet they thought had hit the Clovis society never went anywhere near the Clovis society. The Clovis society is thought of as the oldest cultures in North America. Less than six hundred years after the society formed it disappeared which led many people to think that a major event wiped out almost all of the Clovis society.
I think it is very interesting how people can find out how, first of all the Clovis society ever existed and second of all how long they existed until the entire died off. I also think that it is surprising how they could tell that the comet that was thought to kill them actually didn't come anywhere near they were living in New Mexico,  I want to know how they even found out where the comet went or even if there were a comet.

Ender's Game Anticipation Guide

On The Enders game anticipation guide I had to answer questions from one through five, one being strongly disagree and five being strongly agree these are my answers...

"

"

I answered one out of five because most every situations you never need to hurt someone you could just talk it out with them, and find a solution to the problem you are having without using violence because usually that just makes everything worse.

"It is okay to kill someone in self-defense?"
I answered two out of five because I think that it isn't okay to kill someone, maybe if they are trying to kill you but usually all you would need to do is hurt them or find another non violent way to get them to stop.

"words are stronger than fists?"
I answered three out of five because both can hurt very much, fists hurt you physically but  words can effect how people act and what they think about themselves. I think that both can hurt a person very much.

"Bullies hurt others because they have low self esteem?"
I answered three out of five because sometimes bullies hurt others because they have low self esteem about themselves so they can make themselves feel better about them self by making other people feel bad about themselves, but its not always because of that sometimes they do it to look cool in front of friends or they just do it because they find it fun.

"Only the best and brightest students should receive the best education to become the nation's leaders?"
I answered one out of five because I strongly disagree with that I think that all children should receive the best education, and all of them should get equal opportunities while they are in school.

"Revenge is never justified?"
I answered three out of five because I am undecided, I think that maybe if someone is in jail for a horrible crime like murdering someone for no reason they might deserve the death penalty, but it matters how bad what they did was.

"Crying is evidence of weakness?"
I answered two out of five because crying is also showing that they don't care if you see them cry.

"Any action is acceptable in war?"
I answered three out of five because I am not sure, I don't really think that people should be aloud to do anything in war but it is a war I guess it maters about how serious the thing they are fighting for is.

"Teenagers need discipline and rules because they cant control themselves"
I answered three out of five because most teenagers I think do know how to control themselves but still have rules so they don't get into trouble, but some people actually need rules because they misbehave either way.

"Only through personal sacrifice can someone create positive change?"
I answered two out of five because I don't think to make positive change you need to sacrifice, I think that you would also gain something if you made a positive change you would also gain stuff because you may get famous or just being satisfied about yourself.

"Generating compassion for your enemies is the only way to create peace?"
I answered four out of five because I do think it would help to generate compassion towards your enemies because if you do they may end up being your friends but that I don't think is always the case because some people might just keep doing what they were doing to you and it may make thing worse but usually it would make things better.

My learning type

You Are a Bodily-Kinesthetic Learner

Your mantra: Movement is fun-damental.
Bodily-kinesthetic intelligence means you think in movements. The fundamental ability to use movements for either self-expression or precision to achieve a goal is crucial for surgeons, athletes, mimes, choreographers, and directors.
The best way for you to retain information is to associate it with an activity. Dance, acting, and sports are easy for you to master. Relate what you are trying to learn to one of these activities, and you will retain information and gain understanding.

The survey said that i was 50% on 3 of the categories, and I personally don't think that the survey is very accurate.

What happens when lightning hits sand

“Hey, do you know what happens when sand gets hit by lightning?” He said as he walked out of the dunes, when he had walked in front of us he threw a piece of glass next to us and said “it turns into glass. ”
Me and my friend Sophie were getting ready for our hike to Westhaven, we had done it before but never all the way from my house, in Mckinleyville. We didn’t pack that much and the day before we had found a new route to the beach. It seemed like we had already walked for hours when we got to Morris school we were on our way to her grandmas house, which was where the trail started.
When we got to the trail we started looking for a quicker way down to the river, which we saw the day before but we weren't sure if it led down to the right trail so we didn’t take it; When we found a safe looking shortcut we walked down a tree trunk and jumped onto the right trail. After about fifteen more minutes of walking down the trail we got to the fork where we had taken a left onto the river side. Walked and walked until we got to a huge log that must have came down the river, we didn't see it the day before but we may have passed it when we went up onto a hill to get away from a couple of scary looking pitbulls; we rested there and ate some of our pretzels and nutella. We passed seals on the other side of the river and found some sticks that we used for walking sticks. After that we  took a few more rest and since we didn’t want to cross the river we walked along it, it got pretty steep but we kept walking, finally until we got to where it was shallow enough to walk across then after walking about twenty more minutes we got to Clam Beach ,we got next to the parking lot and put down the two towels that we brought from my house and laid down to rest.
Thats when we saw him he was a man in his early forties walk out of the dunes, he was in raggedy clothes and asked if we knew what happened when lightning hit the sand; without either of us answering he said it turns into glass and threw a piece of glass next two us.
We were really scared but then he asked “do you guys know if there are any police in the parking lot?”
Why would he want to know if there are police in the parking lot, and why is he talking to us?
Thats when Sophie spoke “No we haven’t been in the parking lot yet” and he said “oh well do you know what happens when lightning hits the sand?” And sophie said “it turns into glass?” “Ya how’d you know!?” Then he layed down next to us behind some beach grass and said “i don’t really like being around people, but you guys are okay” after about a minute of silence and me and sophie staring at each other She said “Well we have to go my mom is on her way and she’s going to be getting here soon”, “oh well remember to show her the glass, and remember what happens when lightning hits the sand” he said.
When we got into Sophie’s car we told her about the man and she said how dangerous he could have been, we knew it was dangerous but found what he said kind of funny. During the car ride i kept thinking about the man we had met; and about what he was saying
